The complete list of the 1000 most common Korean words

This list of the 1000 most common Korean words is the result of a statistical analysis that we performed on a large collection of Korean texts, including news articles and a variety of online articles.

The words are sorted in decreasing order of frequency, meaning that the more common words are at the top, and the words lower down the list are a bit less common.

The purpose of this Korean frequency dictionary is to enable language learners to see which vocabulary words are used most often. By focusing on learning the most common words, one can reach fluency faster.

Update: we have added some more vocabulary words, so the list is closer to 1500 words long.
